The Deer Valley lodge base is located in Snow Park.
Most of this area has excellent shuttle bus service
and is convenient to Historic Main Street.
At the
Snow Park Lodge you will find the Lift Ticket Office,
Ski School, Children's Center, ski rentals and
overnight ski storage (free!), as well as ski shops
and dining facilities.
The Deer Valley Seafood Buffet
is listed in 'America's Top Restaurants' by The Zagat
Restaurant Guide.
The venue for the 2002 Olympic moguls competition is converted into an amphitheatre for summer concerts.
The Silver Lake Lodge at mid-mountain also
offers a lift ticket office, complimentary overnight ski storage, restaurants and shopping
opportunities at the "European-style" village.
The shuttle service is a little more limited here
and most accommodations are of luxury standards, many with ski-in/ski-out access -- and just the added touches to make your deer valley ski vacations perfect.
Located at the
Mayflower/Deer Crest entrance on Highway 40, the Jordanelle Express
Gondola is a high-speed four-passenger gondola that takes passengers
up to Little Baldy Peak. This provides access to the ski area in Deer Crest, and also connects to
the Snow Park area via Deer Hollow and Little Stick runs. The terminal
of the Jordanelle Express Gondola offers lift ticket sales and complimentary
overnight ski storage.
From this area there is easy access to the Heber Valley: Heber City,
Midway and the attractions that are offered there. Lodging is limited
but there are properties located near the Jordanelle reservoir,
less than 2 miles from the Gondola.
